Term Two Refection

Reading:

In reading I have learn to show my work in different ways. I noticed that sometimes when I do something fun I always rush to do that fun thing. I need to get better at reading because I want my parents to see that I can improve in my work.

Writing:

I have learned that in my writing that I need to use different sentence beginnings. This term I did well at doing interesting and more paragraphs than last year.I am not so good at using my punctuation because sometimes I put them in wrong places.Next term I need to improve my punctuation.


Maths:

I learnt different strategy like decades,tidy tens,comparisons.I have done well in tidy tens and answering my questions well. This term I rushed my work on my book.I need to do my work tidier and cleaner.


Multimedia/ICT:

I learn how to put my movie onto my blog.To complete my work.I did not so well finding my music in my movie.Next term I need to improve my drawing because it is not so good.

Youth Town Presention

PES Gallery Of Fine Arts

I was so thrilled that we went to our School Art Gallery. We saw heaps of cool art and I was so surprised when I saw my art. It was dazzling from from the roof of the stage in the hall.

I saw lots of paintings that it took me like 3 minutes just to look at amazing artwork. There were so many that I couldn't find my sister’s . It felt like going to the new Art Gallery in Town. The Arts are so cool that people come and buy it.

I saw Art from little kids like Room 6 and Room 5 and more. Also our next door neighbor Room 15 and many more the whole school. I saw some Celebrities in their paintings and arts.

My favourite Art is Room 10 because it was sparkly and it was perfect were it was and stand out awesomely and my other one is my younger sister Glennes in Room 6. It was the best because it was cool and not just cool but it showed that they did hard work to that and all the other painting but this is my favourite thing.

I would love you to visit our school Art Gallery in the hall, I hope you will enjoy it.

Quasia Andy Warhol Biography.

Andy Warhol was an American artist. He was known for his creative and colourful pop art prints. Some examples of his famous art include: Marilyn 1967 and Mao 1972.


Andy Warhol was born in 1928 at Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania, USA. His parent were from Slovakia. Well Andy was a child he had a disease called Chorea and was very sick. His mum helped him in his art when he was a little boy his mum use to give him a colouring book and after he finished a page he will get a treat like a little chocolate bar.




Andy went to a High School named Schenley.People think of andy a  quiet, and shockingly pale skin and white-blonde hair.  He loved to collect and make a collection of celebrities autographed photos.One of his school he went to is called Carnegie High School of  Institute Technology.




In 1960 Warhol begin to start a painting that people know about it called Pop Art. In his cool art he use to draw Supermarket Products like Campbell Tomato Soup and Coca Cola Bottles and more and he also used Celebrity's. He first did his art in his Studio called the Factory and heaps of people use to come to his Factory like People that were in movies with him and also other Artist and writers and also some famous cool Celebrities.

Youth Town

Last Week my class Room 14 went on a trip to Youthtown and were divided into groups and had heaps of fun. I hope we will come back one day. It was so fun that we got to swim in their swimming pool that how fun it was.

My group or should I say the group I was in was a amazing group to be in. We had treats, fun treats like joiners the lollie it was cool. We shared and we sticked together, well not in the pool. 

Our first activity was we had to make clay. Making clay was fun and sticky but when our instructors Georgia and Sue showed us all what to do it seemed easy but when we had to make it, it was pretty hard because we wanted it to be perfect.

After we did all the hard work we moved on to the easy bit. We went to put a little more decoration like putting shiny glass and made look fabulous and wonderful. Finally we went to the last thing to do was, we went to the edge of the table and stamped our name on the side of the clay.
