Math Activity 1

This is my math problem. This is how I soled it. I used tidy numbers as my strategy. 

1. 5.6 + 3.2 = 8.08

5+3=8                                                                             

0.6+0.2=0.8                                                                   

Pinky Rubbles!

Today in Zeal Zone- Cooking Group we made ( I call it Pinky Rubbles ) Rice Bubbles Crispy's.

Ingredients & Ways to make it...

1/4 cup margarine

10 ounces marshmallows (4 cups mini marshmallows)

6 cups Rice Krispies

1.  Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2.  Add cereal and stir until well coated.

3.  Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 9 x 13 inch pan coated with cooking spray.

What I have learnt from it was you don't always have to eat healthy. You can always a sweet treat once in a while. It is fun and Sweet! =)

Zeal Zone Cooking Group!

Last week our senior students were in zeal zone groups. There is Music, Going Somewhere, Arts, Values and Cooking. Well I am in the Cooking Group with Mrs Telea. Last week we made Raps (Healthy Raps).


Our Ingredients were..
-A packet of 15 Tortillas
-Block of  Cheese
-Grated Carrot
-Ripped Off Lettuce
-Hummus
-Dressing Sauce.
It was Delicious!


What I have learned was instead of wasting money on buying your lunch from the Bakery you can make a homemade lunch yourself. It is easy and fun.

Class 4 Survery

1st Day back at School.

Back at School I was so excited and nervous at the same time. After the welcome back assembly, the year 7 and 8 group were sent to the street where our names were called out for our new Classrooms and Teachers.

Once my name was called out I was so relived. I am now in Room 4 with the amazing Mrs Moala as my Teacher. So far meeting and working with her she is so wonderful. Having her as my Teacher is really cool. Although I miss last year i'm sure this year will be double more fun.

Talofa Lava and greetings to you all, my name is Yanquasia but people call me Quasia for short. My heritage and culture is Samoan. I like to play sports and also hanging out with my friends and family.  I have 2 cats named Ginger and Eric. I love them so much. My favourite rugby team is the All Blacks and I also cheer for New South Wales.

I go to Pt England School where there are amazing teachers and also students, of course. Being the eldest out of my 2 siblings it’s a big responsibility for me.

This year in school my learning goal is to move up a year or two in all my subjects.
