Yesterday after morning tea when the bell rang we were ready to go into class ready to do math. But then news came from our teachers that a Dance Group named Kahurangi was going to do a performance for the whole class.
Their were 5 of them. They started with introducing themselves then started performing. They performance always had a story in the background. They did it with Kaha (Braveness) and Mana (Appreciation).
I could honestly saw they were amazing and very inspirational. Also humorous also showing that they are proud of their culture. Kahurangi was Amazing!

Drumming In Assembly!
In Assembly we had an amazing performance performed by drummers. They were not all ordinary drummers but they were also Cook Island drummers with different kind of drums. There was the Cook Island Drumming group and on my side was Mr Sergeant with the ordinary drum kit.
Mr Sergeant started drumming and did an amazing performance. There were different pitches. He changed his rhythm sometimes and made it interesting and enthusiastic. His hand was vibrating as he was playing. Before long he finished and it was now time for the Cook Island Group.
They started playing and the beats we really fast and it made you want to get up and dance. They inspired the drummers in the school.
