My New amazing Teacher!!

Talofa Lava this year is a new year so that means we get new things! As part of the new things are new classes new class mates and new teachers. This year my new teacher is Mrs Squires. So far this year with Mrs Squires is amazing.

My Day!!

My day today is going good so far. I started this day with a prayer then off I went for a shower. I came to school ready to learn and create and share. What we first did so far was Team Assembly then came S.S.R. (Super Silent Reading.) I'll let you know later more about my day!! See you later!! My Henna

To me understanding I think henna is a kind of ink that you can use to decorate your body. I got my henna at Glen Innes Centre when they were celebrating the opening of the Music and Arts Centre. Here is a picture of my henna. Thank You!!

My Friends!!

My friends mean people I can relay on and they always have my back. We are sister and brothers. We will always have a good laugh and we will have our up and downs but we know that we got each other.

Dinner

Today for dinner we had my dad make dinner and he made Pumpkin Soup. It was delicious. It filled my taste buds with joy!! I never thought my dad was a great cook but now I can see I am wrong.

My Day!

My day today was great. I can say I give my day 2 thumps up. What we did in the morning was S.S.R (Super Silent Reading.) Then after morning tea witch is about 11.30 am we did math. And then Lunch time came so we had our lunch and then after lunch we had rotations. In our rotations we are learning to sketch with Mrs Pajet. And then my favourite thing of my day came to after school. The Year 7 girls had netball trials and I was of the year 7 girls. Netball is one of my favourite sports. So there you go. Now you know about my day!!

My Free Writing At Home.

Kara started to feel sweat dripping down her face. Doubts appeared in her mind, it said will I make it in or will I not. As the teacher called her up for her audition her palms started to sweat because of they way she keep rubbing it over and over again. The teacher said her name again " Kara come on up it is your time to show us what you got!" She dashed quickly away from all the doubts she had in her mind and all the visions she saw of herself making it in or not. 

Kara is one of those girls who are shy in times. But they really like to try new things. Kara is a really fit person. She is also one if those person who are into to sports as well! Kara has never signed up for things like talent shows and talent quest and that because basically all she signs up  for are sports club and teams and yeah just that.

So this audition really means a lot to her. Cause this year she setted her mind to aim and try other new things that come up in life. So her she is auditioning for a scroll in the school theatre group or Acting Group. She then walked to her place she got sent to and then she got handed a script she had to do on the spot. So off she went.

Ice Block On a Hot Afternoon

Earlier this afternoon my aunty and uncle came over to me and my sisters house. They came with a little treat. Ice blocks!! Yeah Ice block. I said to my sister "Right now is a perfect time to have an ice block." My sisters agreed with me. So we enjoyed our ice blocks on a very hot afternoon.

Weekly Quiz (Oscar Pistorius)

Oscar Pistorius a well known athlete. He has competed in the Para Olympic for his disability of his legs. Cause when he competes in the Para Olympics he needs his metal legs.

And did you know that he was so fast that he even had a chance to compete in the Olympics. But the thing that made him more familiar because of his girl friend Reeva Steenkamp's  murder of death.

On February the 14 2013 was the day the world lost on of our most beautiful South African models. And did you know that Reeva was a South African model.

We are sorry we lost her and Rest In Peace Reeva.

Week 6 quiz (Valerie Adams)

Each week we have a quiz we have to do as part of one of our reading activities. And part of our activity's was that we had to chose one subject and write about it so I chose  Valerie Adams.

Did you know Valerie is well known as a New Zealand athlete for playing shot put. She has won many medals especially gold. She has competed in the Olympics and against also very good athletes from all over the world but to be a honest New Zealand kiwi she is the best!! 

She has won gold in 2 Olympic games.  Did you know about her magnificent records and the world titles. 

She is amazing!!

Review: This book was a very interesting book. It was about a girl named Jamie who had a dairy witch she called Dumb Dairy. She wrote everything in her Dumb Diary about her life style, about her mum's cooking and just normally just about her life style and don't forget also girly things like her crush and her enemei Angeline.	Excerpt:  School was okay today. Actually, it was better than okay. Angeline got her long, beautiful hair tangled in one of the jillion things she has dangling from her backpack, and the school nurse- who is now one of my main heroes-took a pair of scissors and snipped two feet of silky blond hair from the left side of her head, so now Angeline only looks like The Prettiest Girl in the World if you're standing on her right. ( Although personally, I think she would look better if I was standing on her neck.)

Tomorrow Is my Aunty's Wedding!!

Tomorrow the 4 of March on Tuesday the 2014 is my aunty's special day. I wish her the best and I love you always aunty! She is very blessed with her special someone. I am so excited! If it was your Special day will you be excited?

Weekly Quiz ( Week 5 )

Nearly every week our teacher gives us a quiz that we have to do as part of one of the activity in reading. In our quiz we have visual and normal word question. For me the visual questions are the hardest for me. One of the articles mentioned in the quiz was about the Ellerslie International Flower Show. The Ellerslie International Flower Show of 2014 is held in the town of Christchurch. I am so glad it is not one of the visual question's because if it was then WOW that would be a challenge.
